This careful balance delivers both effectiveness and safety.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely. All our products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We never test on animals at any stage of development, and we don't use any animal-derived ingredients in our formulations except SPF products which contain bee wax. Our commitment to being vegan extends throughout our entire supply chain, and we require the same standards from our suppliers.
What preservatives do you use?
We use a minimal amount of preservatives (less than 1%) including benzoic acid, benzyl alcohol, sodium benzoate, and potassium sorbate. These are the most effective preservatives currently allowed by Cosmos standards for certified natural and organic cosmetics. Our preservation system ensures product safety without compromising our commitment to natural formulations.
Do your products contain fragrances?
Yes, but we only use natural fragrances derived from essential oils, essential oil isolates, and fragrant herbal extracts. What's the difference between Cosmos Natural and Cosmos Organic certification?

Cosmos Organic certification requires the same 99% natural ingredients plus a minimum of 95% of plant ingredients must be certified organic, and at least 20% of the total product must be organic. Both prohibit GMOs, parabens, phenoxyethanol, synthetic perfumes, and synthetic colors.
